The aircraft financing portfolio involves assessment of the client’s financial disposition. Usually, a 50% down payment on the price of the aircraft is required, with ORI providing the other 50%. Financing is mostly through either a Canadian or a U.S. bank. The client’s bank MUST  guarantee the agreement to support, in case of default or late payment, the terms of the contract. The aircraft to be financed should be younger than 15 years to uphold the depreciation value of the asset.
